WALKING DISTANCE
The Museum is a 10-minute walk from Newmarket, a 10-minute walk from Parnell, and a 35-minute walk from Auckland’s city centre. Walking from the conference venue (Owen G Glenn Building) to the museum in 20 minutes is possible – note that the walk involves a reasonably steep hill.

PUBLIC BUS
AUCKLAND TRANSPORT JOURNEY PLANNER
The bright amber OuterLink buses go from/to the University to/from the Museum via Parnell. Buses run every 12 to 15 minutes, from 6 am to midnight. You will need an Auckland Transport (AT) HOP card to travel by bus. Buses, trains and ferries now accept contactless payment.
PARKING
CAR PARKING
There is some free parking, subject to availability, in the Auckland Domain. Please note that during busy periods such as school holidays, public holidays and weekends it may be difficult to find a carpark at the Museum or in the Domain. You can park for a flat fee of $10 for the evening, from 5pm until the end of the event.
